Exposed - Dying To Be Loved

The Chapter That Almost Broke Me… But Healed So Much

The hardest chapter to write in Exposed – Dying to Be Loved was the one about my mama and my son.

Not because I didn’t love them.
But because I do. So deeply. So fully.
And writing the truth about that love—the pain, the longing, the silence—it cost me something real.

When my mama read the book, she stopped speaking to me.
No calls. No replies. Just silence.
But I kept believing.
I kept praying for her to finish the book… to make it to the end… to see me.

Yesterday, she called me.
And that call was everything.
Not a confrontation. Not a debate.
Just love. Just understanding. Just presence.

That one call reminded me of what this journey is all about—
The power of truth.
The weight of forgiveness.
The beauty of love that never stops hoping.

“I didn’t write to break hearts—I wrote to break chains.”
– Exposed – Dying to Be Loved

And even in this healing with my mama, I hold on to hope…
That one day, that same kind of healing will happen between my son and me.
Because if love can reach back and mend what I thought was lost,
I believe it can reach forward too.

This book is for every soul caught in the in-between.
Between silence and healing.
Between pain and peace.
Between shame and redemption.

This is what forgiveness looks like.
This is what breaking generational curses sounds like.
And this… is what Exposed – Dying to Be Loved was born to do.

Let’s talk about it.
Let’s heal out loud.
Let’s rewrite the story together.

Exposed TOO : My Healing Journey - Now That I Know

Things That Make You Say Hmm… | 11:11 a.m. Thought

Would you take financial advice from someone who’s broke?

Would you let a random person perform surgery on your heart?

Then why do we let unhealed people guide us through our healing?

In Exposed: Dying to Be Loved…  I had to face my pain and expose the wounds. I thought I was exposing people. But when I went to God… He exposed me. This time… it’s about healing out loud. Facing the mirror. Owning the truth. Becoming whole.

But in Exposed TOO: My Healing Journey — Now That I Know, I share how I finally found peace — through faith, therapy, and true surrender.
Once I let go and let God do the healing, He restored everything I thought I lost — peace, love, purpose, and partnership.

So if you’re on your healing journey, be careful who you allow to operate on your heart. Make sure they’re qualified, grounded, and God-led.
